I've updated JA Sensei to version 1.7.1. This new version integrates Kana audio quizzes and 300 new words for the Vocabulary module (total: 1700 words now).

Japon4910 has also worked on a document to help you to learn and write hiragana. You can download it from the Multimedia section. I'm much grateful to him as it was a huge work that he did for the site and you.

Administrator The emulator doesn't allow any access to the Android Market, so it's not possible to download JA Sensei. The emulator is mainly provided for testing to developpers. It can only lauch applications that are not "signed" (in other words, for most of them, application you create yourself). All applications on the market are signed to prevent other developpers from stealing your work, etc.

Administrator Yes I've seen that, I'll add the audio when the icon is clicked in the next version. As for the kana size, I'll see what I can do.

Pirespt I tried the audio quiz today and would like to suggest something. -is it possible to repeat the word if we need, by pressing the icon with the person talking? I have an app to learn Spanish verbs that works in the same fashion and the ability to repeat the word is very useful -this may be silly but would it be possible to have the kana symbols a bit bigger, this may not be possible when using the medium and hard modes but I have an HTC Desire HD with a big screen and the icons seem small, not sure how they look on a smaller phone. NebulaSteam Drat, I don't own JA Sensei because I don't have an android phone. Ah well; no problem. Any chance you can get those Audio Kana Quizzes to work on the PC version of JA Sensei as well?

Administrator You're right, I'll tell Japon4910 to modify it as he wanted to release another version soon. For the Audio quizzes in JA Sensei, first make sure you have version 1.7.1. Then select Kana > Quiz In the Kana Quiz setup, select in the "FROM" section the Audio option.

NebulaSteam Awesome! Thanks so much for the upgrade! BTW, in the Hiragana document, on page 25, where it says, "Mind the following characters....", scroll down to the 5th line in the kana list. Unless I'm wrong, those two kanas are both Ro/ろ. I think what he meant to say was, "ろ　& そ" or maybe:"ろ & る" Also, I don't think the Kana audio quizzes work. Where can I go to access them? I tried the Kana Reading Quizzes section, but I'm not hearing anything. Is it only for Samurai Accounts?
