My name outside of the internet is Kate and I reside in the United States. I can read and speak french fairly well, enough italian to read some books, and had to learn my colors in german so I could read wiring diagrams in BMW mechanic school.

I have tried off and on to learn japanese, yet alot of the books I found contained either all romanji or were confusing on the aspects of grammar. After reading the John Rain series by Barry Eisler again my interest in the language was renewed. I found the Ja sensei app on the android market and fell in love with the hiragana practice and lessons. I found the site through the application and cannot thank you enough for providing such a wealth of concise knowledge. I wish I had known the site existed much sooner so I could have put the money on books and cds I have spent over the years towards this website which is actually working!

Hello Truut and welcome. Element and Xehanort are helping me create more grammar content. I've added 8 new documents two days ago. One of the project may be the integration of real Japanese texts to read with multiple assitance tools (kanji reading, grammar explanation, etc.), so that people can read Japanese texts without the help from other people.

I'm glad the site can help you so much, it always gives more energy when we heard that people appreciate what is done here.
