Hi,

I'd like to report a bug in the assisted reading section. If I check the box that says "Display translated text" (in settings), the whole browser freezes. This is the case in Mozilla Firefox and Chrome. Would it be possible for someone to look into that? Besides this, I think the assisted reading section is a great feature.

Keep up the good work!

From my side (under Firefox) I do not have this freeze problem.
Even I use the website in French nor English.

Maybe there is a problem on your OS (Windows ?).
Maybe Java or something.

Hello again,

The problem still exists on my computer, although I might've been a bit misleading earlier. The whole browser does not freeze, just the one tab that has assisted reading up.
I have the newest java and adobe flash player, no ad-blocker and fully updated windows 10 and Firefox.

Hi !

Strange.
What is the behaviour with another browser, eg.. Opera or internet explorer ?

Can't believe I woke IE from its slumber, but it does happen on that browser as well. I've not tried Opera.

Anyway, it's not really a function I use, as I prefer to translate myself (for the practice), so I will not push the case any further.
If any of you admins wants to take a deeper look or need more information, I will of course assist as much as I can.

All the best,
Ivers92

Update: The problem disappears once I passed the quiz for the chosen lesson. The problem is still there on lessons I've not passed.

Hopefully you can use this information to fix it.

Ok I see what you mean.
Actually; the browser only freezes on the texts where you didn't do the quiz yet.
I think it's normal. This is so that you don't read the text before you did the quiz.
Of course, I tried and my browser also freezes.
