Hello

Anyone have good way of remembering new words ?

So far i was using Anki (it's similar to supermemo). You can set how much new words you learn everyday and also review old one. The problem for me is that sometimes when words are hard this method take too long and i'm not sure if it's working as it should, specially when you skip few days and have 300 words to review.

I will be glad to know how you do it.

My bro is learning 7 years and he said one day i will remember, but i will get old before it will happend .......

Hello,

For sure, many people in France use anki, too.
But there exists a mnemonics method made by a french author : Maniette. It is based on historic sense or visual aspect of the kanji. It is not working with any anybody.
A similar (but different ) method is Pict-o-graphics by Rowley, you know perhaps ?
For me I only suffer in order to retain.

RémiJA.

PS: Sorry for my english. I read english easily but writing is more difficult.

Thanks for your answer

I have Pict-o-graphix by Rowley but it's not so good book comparing them with Chinese book "Fun with Chinese Characters by Tan Huay Peng.
And this books are only for basic characters.

I found nice page similar to Anki, it have audio and also check if you really know right answer :)

Hello
I'm using flashcards. It's very fine to remember kanji.
