Particle NO (の) end of sentence

1. 

The particle NO can replace the particle KA at the end of a sentence to indicate that it's a question in a colloquial way (with rising intonation).

いつスキーに行くの?
いつ スキー に いく の?
When are you going skiing?
2. 

Used to soften a statement (used by women only).

毎週日曜日はヨガの教室に行くの。
まいしゅう にちようび は ヨガ の きょうしつ に いく の。
I go to Yoga class every Sunday.
3. 

Used to soften a command.

そんな目で見ないの。
そんな め で みない の。
Don’t look at me like that.
