As you know, Japan has been hit by an important earthquake. The region around Sendai is mainly concerned. The disaster toll is so far estimated at 1,000 people, but unfortunately much more is to be expected. My wife's family lives on the western coast of Japan and I thank God they are still alive.

I heard there's a way to donate to the American Red Cross just by sending a text message, and I think it's added to your phone bill. So...if anyone wants to donate. But that's not specifically for Japan; it's for the organisation. I also heard you can give money specifically for Japan on the Red Cross' website.
