The new version of JA Sensei was released yesterday, with a major update to the new Reading module.

You can now learn the vocabulary and kanji used in the texts you read thanks to the new "Learning References" section integrated in the Reading module.

This tool gives you the possibility to use the Flashcards and Quizzes already existing in the application. Use the Flashcards mode to learn new words and kanji at your own pace according to your objectives. Then use the Quiz mode to test yourself, earn learning points, and retain what you learn in the long term.

Just like the other quizzes in the application, JA Sensei will use the SRS feature to track your errors and ease in the quizzes to let you quiz and review the information before it fades from your memory.

The "Learning References" section also lets you choose the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) level of the content if you want to focus on very useful words first before learning more complicated words. So you can learn the vocabulary gradually. And in the same way, you can do this with the kanji of the text.

The way Furigana works has also changed. You can still show ALL Furigana in the options. But now, if you disable the option, the Furigana will only be displayed if you select a phrase in the text. This allows you to try to read a sentence without any help, and then check very quickly if your reading was right if in doubt.

Don't forget to leave a review on Google Play to rate the app. It helps me a lot to keep improving the application. I still have a lot of things to offer you.

Thank you all and have a great weekend!

I wish all the other contents are available in the app, I wouldn't mind paying a little bit more.

JA Sensei is without a doubt the best method to learn Japanese, both on the website and in the app there is a lot of quality content and the possibility to synchronize data with the computer and smartphone is great.
Unfortunately for some people who live in countries that are not so fair (like Brazil) the Samurai plan is very expensive, but I know that for the price charged it is worth it, as I said before, all the content is of high quality. :)
